The group rates sales lady contacted us today with rates. We need at least 15 condos to book at the rates below. Some of you have already responded. We will have a sign up sheet at the front desk if you are interested in staying at the Camelot. It is on the beach and is within walking distance to the convention center.

Rehearsal Dates and Information

If you are 16 years old before December 1, 2010, you will be on the 16 and over Small Group. Your rehearsal days will be on Saturdays. We will NOT be starting on Saturday, October 9 because we are hoping that as many of you that can attend Morgan's 2nd workshop on this date. We will begin small group on Saturday, October 16.

Our High School Seniors trio will rehearse Saturday, October 9 after Morgan's workshop on Saturday. This should be around 12:30 pm.

Leigha and Nathan 15 year old division duo rehearsal will begin on Tuesday, October 5 at 8:30 pm.

If you are on Elite and you are 13,14, or 15 on December 1, you will be on the 13-15 year old division Small Group. Your rehearsal days will be on Thursdays at 8:00 pm.

If you are 10, 11, 12 and are on the Phantoms Elite, you will be on the 10-12 year old division Small Group. Your rehearsal days will be on Thursdays at 7:00 pm.

If you are a ThunderBolt or SpitFire Elite, you will be on the Petite Small Group.
Your rehearsal days will be on Saturdays. Your first rehearsal will be on Saturday, October 9 at 2:00 pm. You will not longer rehearse on Thursdays beginning in October.

The Boy Meets Girl Costume has arrived. We have not received our stones yet but they are on order. You can bring your need and red thread on Monday night and we can decide how sew on the fringe and the sequin applique. Thanks

Legacy Company Picnic - Sunday, September 26

Our picnic is set for Sunday at the studio (behind the building), park in front. The picnic sill begin at 1:00 pm. Please bring tables, chairs and your own drinks. We will put the food inside.
We decided to attempt to assign dishes so that everyone doesn't bring the same thing.

Legacy - will supply chicken and paper goods
BombShells - Rolls
ThunderBoltz - Beans (Baked, Green, whatever your heart desires)
SpitFires - Pastas (Macaroni and Cheese or pasta salad) or Potatoes

Measuring SpitFires for Costumes Tonight

We will be measuring the SpitFires for costumes tonight!

Upcoming Costume Expenses

We would like to start shopping for fabrics for costumes next month. We will be adding $40 to each statement next month to cover some initial costs for costumes. We will continue to try to budget bill the costumes so that you will not be hit with an overwhelming monthly statement. Thanks for all that you do to support the studio and your children!

Tap Shoes

SpitFires, Please make sure to bring your tap shoes on Mondays. Mrs. Stacey is going to be teaching tap everyother Monday for 1/2 hour during our technique class. Not sure when we are starting this so just keep your shoes in your bags! Thanks!

Let's Eat and Vote!

Let's plan on holding our Legacy Dance Company Picnic on Sunday, September 26 at 1:00 pm at the studio. Bring your lawn chairs, tents, tables and a side dish. Legacy will provide the chicken! We will be drawing for big sisters/little sisters and brothers on this day. We are going to try to get the photographer to come to the studio on the 26th for group pictures, but have not scheduled this yet. We will let you know for sure by the end of this week about pictures.

We will be voting on our nationals trip this week. See Janie or Amy at the front desk to vote. Thanks!

We are really missing everyone! Let's plan on starting Team rehearsals the week of August 23. The schedule is posted below. Final inspections are today. We should be able to lay down the marley on Friday, August 20. They should have the final coat of paint and everything else finished by then. The studio is looking great! We are so excited to get started.

Delays in Construction

The overhead inspection didn't pass yesterday due to a problem with the sprinkler system, so we are delayed a bit in our early team practices. We will create a new team workout schedule as soon as we know we are safe to lay down the dance floors. Open House and Registration will remain scheduled on Saturday, August 21 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Thanks for your patience!
